Private messages are not end-to-end encrypted. Messages do not currently have an automatic expiration period. When a member deletes their account, messages authored by that member are deleted from the application database, and the member is removed from conversation participant lists. Messages authored by other participants may remain. 3.5 Location Information Members may voluntarily identify their general geographic location to help find gaming groups, local events, and marketplace opportunities. Members are not required to publish their residential addresses. Technical information, such as IP addresses, may also provide an approximate indication of location. 3.6 Technical Information Our website and hosting infrastructure may process technical information necessary to operate and secure the service. This may include: IP addresses. Browser and device information. Operating system information. Access timestamps. Requested pages. Error logs. Security-related activity. Members should review an organizer's information practices before providing personal information. 12. Account Deletion Members may delete their accounts through the website. When an account is deleted, The Magic Brokers performs the following actions: Replaces the username with an anonymized identifier. Changes the display name to "Deleted user." Clears profile information, including biography and signature. Removes avatar and banner references. Clears authentication-related profile data and MFA secrets from the application user record. Deletes private messages authored by the member. Removes the member from conversation participant lists. Deletes associated votes, notifications, badges, blocks, chat messages, and chat reactions. An anonymized user record is retained to preserve forum post attribution. Public forum posts and threads are not automatically deleted when an account is deleted. These posts remain available and are attributed to "Deleted user." Uploaded Images and Attachments During account deletion, The Magic Brokers removes image references from the member's forum posts and clears avatar and banner references. However, Base44 does not currently expose a storage-object deletion API through the application's available integration. As a result, underlying uploaded files may remain stored on the platform and may remain accessible to individuals who possess their direct URLs. Removing an image from a forum post does not guarantee deletion of the underlying stored file. Members who wish to request removal of personal information contained in retained posts or uploaded files may contact info@themagicbrokers.com. We will review such requests and take appropriate action under applicable law, including seeking assistance from our hosting provider where necessary. Deletion from the active application database does not necessarily result in immediate deletion from infrastructure backups. 13. Data Retention The Magic Brokers maintains the following data retention practices. 13.1 Active Accounts Account information is maintained while an account remains active. 13.2 Deleted Accounts When an account is deleted, personal profile information is cleared, and an anonymized user record is retained indefinitely to preserve forum attribution. 13.3 Public Forum Content Public posts and threads remain available after account deletion unless separately removed. 13.4 Private Messages Private messages do not currently have an automatic expiration period. Messages authored by a member are deleted from the application database when that member deletes their account. 13.5 Chat Messages Global and public chat rooms are subject to an automated seven-day message retention period. Forum-linked chat rooms are exempt from the seven-day time-based retention process and message-count purge to preserve discussions associated with their respective forums. 13.6 Audit Logs The system automatically deletes administrative and security audit logs after 30 days through a scheduled daily cleanup process. 13.7 Uploaded Files References to uploaded images are removed from a member's content during account deletion. Underlying storage objects may persist because direct storage-object deletion is not currently supported through the application's available platform integration. 13.8 Backups Infrastructure backups are managed by Base44 according to its platform retention practices. The Magic Brokers does not directly configure backup retention through its application. We may retain information where required by applicable law or when reasonably necessary to resolve legitimate disputes. 14. Information Security The Magic Brokers uses Base44's platform-managed hosting and authentication infrastructure. The application implements role-based permissions, per-forum access controls, and database access restrictions. Administrative functionality is restricted according to assigned permissions. The application supports configurable multifactor authentication requirements for designated roles. Base44 manages password storage, HTTPS transport security, and infrastructure backups. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Members should protect their account credentials and report suspected unauthorized access to info@cvgamers.com. 15. Your Privacy Choices and Rights Members may manage certain profile information and account settings through available website features.
